Adam Yzelman Photography
I started taking photos in 1981 with a Kodak Instamatic 126 format film camera.
Things got more serious around 1984 when I resurrected an old Yashica 35mm SLR and started using Black and White film and processing my own photos.
Later I purchased a Pentax SF7SLR and shot mostly colour film.
Around 1992 a friend brought an enlarger and built his own home darkroom which gave the opportunity to once again shoot and process Black and White film.
Fast forward to the digital age..
I gravitate towards photographing Landscapes and Events.
I also enjoy photographing people (candid or posed), built environment, animals, after dark scenes, special effects, machinery & motor sports.
My wife is also an accomplished photographer in her own right with a particular talent for candid photography with children, animals and people. We often work together which works well to produce different perspectives of the same scene.
